Throughout the week, learners from Preschool to Junior High School participated in various tournaments and activities that encouraged both athletic excellence and character development.
From volleyball and basketball matches to chess and Scrabble competitions, students demonstrated discipline, teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship. Each event highlighted not only their growing skills but also their confidence and determination as members of their respective teams.

Strengthening the Franciscan Spirit Through Sports and Family Participation
More than medals and trophies, SIGLAKAS Family Sports Day represents the heart of the Franciscan learning experience. It provides students with opportunities to grow in confidence, cooperation, leadership, and resilience while strengthening friendships and deepening their connection with the school community.
The presence and participation of parents made the celebration even more meaningful. Through cheering competitions, family games, and shared moments of joy and encouragement, families became active partners in creating a vibrant and supportive learning environment for their children.
In the spirit of Cura Personalis, or care for the whole person, SIGLAKAS continues to nurture not only physical strength but also character, teamwork, and a sense of community belonging among our learners.
Congratulations to all students, parents, teachers, and teams who made SIGLAKAS Family Sports Day 2026 a joyful and memorable celebration of energy, unity, and Franciscan pride. We look forward to many more years of growing stronger togetherβwith sigla and lakas! π
