How to Enroll at SFAMSC
We are so happy that you are considering St. Francis of Assisi Montessori School of Cainta for your child. We look forward to welcoming you and your child to the SFAMSC family and to being part of your child’s learning, growth, and happy school journey.
At SFAMSC, we offer two ways to enroll:
We warmly encourage parents and students to enroll on campus so you can personally see our classrooms, facilities, and the welcoming St. Francis community. In time, this will become your child’s second home — a place where they will not only learn lessons, but also grow, build friendships, and share many memorable experiences with you and with us. That is why we believe it is always best for families to experience the school in person whenever possible.

Step 2: Assessment Exam
Once your child is ready, we will have them take a simple assessment exam. Don’t worry — it is not meant to be stressful or intimidating. It simply helps us understand your child’s academic readiness so we can make sure they receive the right support from the very beginning. Our goal is to help every child feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn with their new classmates.
Step 3: Enroll or Reserve a Slot
After the assessment, you may proceed with enrollment. If you are not yet ready to finalize everything but would like to reserve a slot for your child, you may pay a ₱2,000 reservation fee. Since our morning sections usually fill up quickly, reserving early is highly recommended if you prefer a specific schedule.
Please note: The ₱2,000 reservation fee is deductible from the tuition fee upon enrollment.
Step 4: Submit the Requirements
We will give you an enrollment form to fill out at the office. Please also prepare the following requirements:
For Preschool to Grade 1
Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate (for Catholics)
Four (4) pieces 2x2 ID photos
Report Card or School Form 9 (SF9) from the previous school year (If it is your child’s first time in school, this is not required.)
Medical Certificate (only if your child has a medical condition)
Completed Enrollment Form
For Transferees: Grades 1 to 10
Report Card or School Form 9 (SF9)
Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate (for Catholics)
Four (4) pieces 2x2 ID photos
Certificate of Good Moral Character from the last school attended
Completed Enrollment Form
Step 5: Complete the Registration Card
Please take a moment to complete the registration card carefully. This is one of the most important documents we keep, as it contains your updated contact details and emergency information. It helps us reach you quickly if your child ever needs you.
Step 6: Settle the Fees
You may pay in cash over the counter while at school, or through bank transfer if that is more convenient for you.

We have quarterly, semestral, and annual payment plans to help families manage tuition payments more comfortably. Once payment has been settled, we will issue your official receipt and provide your child’s orientation schedule.
Step 7: Setup for Online Classes
We hold online classes at least twice a month, as well as during class suspensions caused by emergencies such as typhoons or floods. This helps keep your child’s learning on track, avoids lesson delays, and allows classes to finish on time so students can enjoy a full summer vacation.
To help your child join online classes smoothly, please bring your laptop so we can install the online class app and guide you on how to use it.

After that, your child is all set, and we will be excited to welcome them into the classroom.
If visiting the school in person is not yet possible, you may also begin your child’s enrollment online. This is a convenient way to start the process from home while still allowing us to guide you every step of the way.
Step 1: Complete the Online Enrollment Form
Begin by filling out our Online Enrollment Form completely and carefully. This will help us gather your child’s basic information and allow our admissions team to begin processing your application.
Step 2: Schedule the Assessment Exam
After submitting the online enrollment form, please call the school to schedule your child’s assessment exam.
The assessment is intended to help us understand your child’s academic readiness and identify any support they may need. Our goal is to make sure every child can adjust well and learn comfortably in their new environment.
