Announcements: Foundation Day Celebration SY 2012-2013

UPDATE: There has been a change of schedule in the foundation day Celebration schedule to help students and the SFAMSC community fully enjoy this festive occasion. We will have our general full day rehearsal will on 17th of January. The Thanks Giving Mass, talent show and bazaar will be on 18th and 19th. Thank you!

The St. Francis Cainta Foundation day will be soon upon us! This January 18-19 we will celebrate our foundation day with a school bazaar and a talent show! Students, alumni, teachers, and parents! We want to see your performing talent! Sing, dance, play a musical instrument, or perform skits for everyone to see and enjoy!

If you wish to perform at our talent show (or join as a tenant of the school bazaar) please come and register at the Principal’s Office as early as possible so that we can fit you into our program! We are hoping this Foundation Day will be our most fun and exciting yet!

Announcements: Schedule for United Nations and Foundation Day Celebrations

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Greetings of Peace and Unity!

We will be celebrating our United Nations Day on October 25, 2012. UN day is a special day to celebrate the unity of member nations for which the Philippines is a long time member. To promote awareness to our pupils and students about the importance of this special day we are celebrating by doing a street performance around St. Francis Village and a field demonstration at the Area 6 Basketball Court. Pupils and students are requested to wear any national costume of any member country of the United Nations.

For the last few years we have combined our UN day celebration with the school’s foundation day. However, the school’s founding is actually January 19, 1999. Thus, we will have a separate celebration of our 13th Foundation Day on January 18 & 19, 2013.

Let us make this a fun and meaningful celebration for our pupils.

Prof. Henry Tenedero

We are very excited to bring to you educator, author, speaker, and one of the pioneer experts on multiple intelligence in the Philippines - Professor Henry Tenedero.  The topic of the seminar is:

“Charting your Child’s Success Using Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligence”

Professor Tenedero acquired his Master’s Degree in Development Management at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) and studied at the Harvard University’s Graduate School Program for Professional Education  Leaders specializing on Multiple Intelligences.

Among his numerous accomplishments, He also served as a Visiting Lecturer at Georgetown University‘s Center for Immigration and Refugee Assistance Policy and at the St. Anthony’s College in Oxford University.An advocate of the United Nations’ Education-for- All program and an active presenter at the Annual Learning Styles Leadership Institute in New York, he travels extensively in the US, Asia, and Scandinavian countries to promote his advocacy that Education is the Great Equalizer, which in essence means the witnessing and nurturing the communion of all peoples; the realization of one humanity sharing and enriching one earth.

He espouses the belief that:

▶  every child has genius potentials in more ways than one
▶  between hope and despair, education is the great equalizer
▶  we need to work/teach beyond the curriculum
▶  we need to create happy learning environments at home, at work and in school

He is the author of the following educationally inspiring books:

Announcements: Classes are Suspended Due to Heavy Rains and Floods

Please be informed that CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS ARE SUSPENDED for tomorrow, AUGUST 14, 2012 because there is still flood in St. Francis Village. REGULAR classes will resume on Wednesday, August 15 and the First Quarter Exams will be on August 16 to 18, Thursday to Saturday (original schedule of exams will be followed). Please be guided accordingly….God bless everyone!
