First prize winners Mr. David Navalle and his son Ahlan David Navalle cooking their scrumptious “David’s All - Time Favorite Omelet.”
Our school handed out an invitation for our parents to join the Parent-Child Cook Off competition to celebrate of Nutrition Month. Upon reaching our home, with much eagerness, I gave the invitation to my dad. My father readily agreed to join and share the fun of participating in this once a year experience. The theme of the contest is to prepare a easy to cook but nutritious dish in front of a live audience! We discussed what kind of dish we can make that is both beneficial and something very special that everyone would enjoy. My imaginations came rushing to and I was thinking of the aroma of delicious pizza from neighborhood restaurant besides our place. Finally, we settled with the idea to cook the same toppings of pizza but instead of a dough mixture, we will use eggs instead. My dad called the recipe David’s Favorite Omelet because this recipe is actually my favorite egg dish.
